Renewing My Loans

Item request cannot be made. ×
Most Library items can be renewed up to two times, if the item has not been requested by another Library patron.
Several days before your items become due, you will receive an e-mail which will prompt you to renew or return your loans.
There are several ways to renew your borrowed Library items:
- Email your request to email@example.com. (Note: do not reply to the automated email reminder, as this will not be received by the library)
- Ring the Library to request a renewal on 02 8838 8940
- Visit the Library in person
- Renew your loans online using your library account (see instructions below)
To renew items online, you will need to Login to your account by clicking on the Login link at the top of the Library webpage.
Once you have logged in you will be taken to a screen which shows your account information, including loans, holds, and fees. To view a list of your current loans, click on "View All Your Loans"
This will bring up a list of all your current loans. To renew an item, click on "Renew Item" next to the title.
If the renewal is permitted, you will see a message telling you that the renewal was successful and giving you the new due date of the item.
If the item is not able to be renewed you will see a message telling you that the renewal was unsuccessful. This means that you will need to return the item to the Library as soon as possible.
